Over the last few years I have met with several different accountants because I was looking for someone to prepare my tax returns.

One of the accountants I met last year had setup a beautiful office in his home.

His basement had a private entrance and he had all the rooms renovated into individual offices, some with open concept, and some were more private.

The space was very well decorated and it also included a meeting room and a coffee room.

Yes, he did have several staff working with him.

Why do I use this as an example of a great business? Because providing this service to your clients from the comfort of your home adds such a great personal touch to your business.

The office environment was relaxed and casual, the parking was so easy and the fees were much better than a busy downtown office. Hence, his business is booming.

You do not need to renovate your home to be successful. Perhaps you have a room in your home that you can turn into a nice office. Somewhere that you can do your work and meet with clients as required.
