What Are You Doing to Generate New Money?

I came across a very interesting series of articles this morning on CNN entitled "Economic Survival In This Time of Financial Crisis”.

One of the stories in this series that I found interesting is about a young couple that have re–evaluated their financial needs so that they can continue to operate their small businesses.

Vanessa Cooreman Smith and her husband Steven Smith are selling their large, two story home in South Bend, Indiana, and moving into a smaller home so that Vanessa can afford to keep her small business alive and growing, and her husband can continue working as a Real Estate Agent.

They say that they have learned to live on less so that they can continue to do what they love. They have learned that operating their own small businesses makes them very happy, because they have found their passion.

They have also learned that by continuing to figure out ways to follow their passion, such as adjusting their operating expenses, they will continue to be very happy, while eventually re–building their finances.
