I recently stumbled upon a true eye-opener. A must read for anyone that wants to be successful in a network marketing business but finds themselves struggling with
it instead.
The eye-opener is the FREE e-book titled “The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing”.
The lessons in this book have helped me overcome the things I have been struggling with in my own network marketing business. It has opened my mind to a new way of
thinking and an incredible way of building a network marketing business.
First, I would like to share my earlier experience with network marketing.
Earlier this year a friend contacted me to tell me about a new and exciting business opportunity.
She had recently become a distributor with a network marketing business. I was vaguely familiar with the organization. She showed me their website and I scanned
through the products. I decided to try some of the products since they have products that I would normally purchase every several months anyways.
I found that I truly love some of the products, and I have continued to use them over and over again in our home. Like anything, there are a few products that I
probably wouldn’t buy again. They just didn’t work well for me.
After I started using the products, my friend and I started talking about the business opportunity. She explained how the business works and how important it is to
duplicate what everyone else does to promote their business.
One of the first things we talked about is the “warm market list”. Everyone starts by creating their warm market list. This (if you are not familiar with it) is the
list of 100 people that you already know.
Once your list is made, then you are suppose to make personal contact and try to meet with all these people to tell them about this new business, in the hopes that
they would want to buy some products or become a distributor as well.
I think the thought behind this process is that people you know will automatically want to help you out, so they will either buy into the business to support you or
at least become clients of your business.
While that is a great concept – guess what? Friends and family do not necessarily buy from friends and family.
Shocking – I know!
But if they do not need the product or they do not like the product, then chances are they are not going to buy it.
There is just something about make your list of 100 people and prospect everyone you know that I just didn’t feel comfortable with.
When I first heard that, one of my thoughts was “I wonder if I can find an easier and more effective way to do this, since approaching everyone I know is not the way
I would like to market a new business”.
I also had the following thoughts:
- Not everyone I come in contact with is a new business prospect because not everyone I come in contact with wants to run their own business.
- Wouldn’t it be great to speak to people who are actively looking to start a business?
I began searching the Internet in an attempt to find other ways to build a successful network marketing business.
That is when I found the FREE e-book titled "The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing".
I was very excited when I read this book. It is clear, honest and straight to the point.
I learned a great deal!

I was even happier to find out that there was a second book.
This book taught me excellent marketing strategies. These are marketing strategies
that can be used in any type of business, including network marketing.
Some of the important marketing strategies that I have learned are:
- How to easily attract people that are actively looking for a particular business.
- How to leverage my time effectively no matter what type of business I am building.
